Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat North America LLC (“Intelsat”), by counsel, herein supplements the above- referenced pending request for special temporary authority for Intelsat to use its Clarksburg, Maryland earth station (call sign KA275) to provide emergency communications services to the AMC-1 satellite from December 2, 2010 through December 31, 2010.1 Specifically, Intelsat notifies the Commission that SES WORLD SKIES (“SES”) has informed Intelsat that SES intends temporarily to move the AMC-1 satellite up to .02 degrees outside of the western edge of its assigned station-keeping box at 103º W.L., i.e. to 103.07º W.L. The AMC-1 satellite’s operation outside of its station-keeping box will minimize disruptions to customers as the uncontrolled Galaxy 15 satellite (call sign S2387) passes through the 103º W.L. orbital location on or about December 3, 2010.2 Please contact the undersigned with any questions.
