Exhibit C Page 1of 1 ITEM 12, DESCRIPTION REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY File No. SES-LIC-20101015-01299 Pursuant to Section 25.120 (47 C.F.R. 25.120) of the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (“Commission” or “FCC”), Cisco Systems, Inc. hereby respectfully requests Special Temporary Authority (“STA”) for a six day period to operate the earth station as requested in its license application -- File No. SES-LIC-20101015-01299, (the “Application”). The purpose of the instant request is to permit Cisco Systems to operate their earth station to demonstrate their products and services at a trade show venue in New Orleans, Louisiana, while the Commission is processing the Application for permanent authorization. This demonstration of equipment will further the public interest by bringing new services and products to market and meet critical deadlines in their support.
