In light of certain issues surrounding these requests that were identified by Bureau officials, EchoStar has decided to refrain from placing further undue strain on the International Bureau’s resources in connection with this matter. The withdrawal of these applications makes it all the more important for EchoStar to obtain favorable and early action on its request for modification authority to operate EchoStar 8 at the 86.5 W.L. slot as a licensed satellite and put that location to use as quickly as possible.1 1 See File SAT-MOD-20101124-00244 (filed Nov. 24, 2010).
