     Intelsat North America LLC herein requests an additional seven day extension —— through
    July 28,       2010 —— of the Special Temporary Authority previously granted Intelsat to test a
    new 9.2m Ka—band antenna located at its existing Riverside, CA teleport.

              Intelsat North America LLC ("Intelsat") herein requests an additional seven—

            As noted in prev10us extension requests, late delivery of critical antenna sub—

g         — components delayed final performance tests of this antenna. Customer
            demonstrations currently are scheduled for July 20—21. So as to ensure it has
>~          the ability to address issues that may come up during those demonstrations,
            however, Intelsat is herein seeking a seven—day further extension of its STA.
e              Intelsat does not expect to seek further extension beyond the July 28, 2010 date,

   verification — transmit and receive in both azimuth and elevation in both
   polarizations(linear and circular) ~— and for cross—polarization patterns
   verification.

   In support ofthis further extension request, Intelsat incorporates byreference
   the materials submitted with its original STA request to test this antenna —
   specifically, the detailed technical information (in Exhibits A—D) that
   demonstrates that the operation of the earth station at 89° W.L. during testing
    will be compatible with its electromagnetic environment and will not cause
    harmful interference into any lawfully operating facility. In the extremely
    unlikely event that harmful interference should occur, Intelsat will take all.
  ' reasonable steps to eliminate the interference.

   For the reasons set forth herein, Intelsat respectfully requests that the
   Comrmssmn grant this further extension request.
