        Notification of SES Americom, Inc. pursuant to § 1.65

Dear Ms. Dortch:

                 SES Americom, Inc. ("SES Americom," doing business as "SES WORLD
SKIES"), by its attorneys and pursuant to Section 1.65 of the Commission‘s rules, hereby
updates the above—referenced applications relating to in—orbit testing of the SES—1 satellite (the
"IOT Applications") in order to correct a typographical error and report on the status of
terrestrial coordination.

       Correction: The table on the first page of Attachment 1 to the IOT Applications has a
typographical error in the final column concerning earth station EO40303, which is to be used for
testing of the SES—1 17/24 GHz Broadcasting Satellite Service ("BSS") payload. The frequency
range for the 17/24 GHz BSS IOT should be "17.3—18.8 GHz; 24.75—25.25 GHz." The last value
in the table as filed was 24.25 GHz, which is incorrect.

         Coordination Update: In the IOT Applications, SES WORLD SKIES reported that it was
is in the process of coordinating the use of the EO40303 earth station for IOT of the 17/24 GHz
BSS payload with Fibertower Spectrum Holdings LLC ("Fibertower"), which holds

authorizations to provide DEMS service in the 24 GHz band within the SMSA in which
E040303 is located as well as in adjacent SMSAs. SES WORLD SKIES is in discussions with
Fibertower, and hopes to conclude those discussions shortly. SES WORLD SKIES will provide
a further update as soon as a resolution has been reached.
