Vizada, Inc. (“Vizada”) requests a grant of special temporary authority (“STA”)
to allow the continued utilization of 13.75 – 14.0 GHz frequencies and emissions for the
Southbury, CT teleport SBY30/VER 9 meter antenna to communicate with the Telstar
11N Satellite. Grant of this STA is in the public interest because it will assure continuity
of service for Vizada’s customers who now receive services via these Southbury Teleport
transmissions. Vizada fully complies with the STA conditions (Attachment 2 to the STA
Application) and will continue to do so.

Accordingly, Vizada respectfully requests that the Bureau grant this STA for a
period of sixty days. Vizada agrees to continue to operate subject to the terms and
conditions contained in the original STA grant. Any questions with respect to this matter
may be directed to James G. Lovelace at (301)838-7909.
