L. and 43.0 W.L., the latter prior to grant of permanent operating authority.

Specifically, this antenna will be used to provide TT&C services to the Intelsat 11 satellite at its current location of 43.0° W.L.* In support of this request, Intelsat incorporates by reference its pending application for authority to use this antenna to transmit in these frequencies on a permanent basis." The application contains detailed technical information (in Exhibits A—E) that demonstrates that the operation of the earth station at 43.0° W.L. will be compatible with its electromagnetic environment and will not cause harmful interference into any lawfully operating facility. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should occur, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate the interference. Grant of this STA further extension request will enable Intelsat to continue commanding the Intelsat 11 satellite at 43.0° W.L. until grant of permanent authority, thereby serving the public interest.
