| 12. Description.
The Applicant seeks to add AMC-1 at 103.0 degrees W.L. as a Point of Communication to the earth station license. A letter of Engineering Certification of SES Americom, Inc. is attached which supports the license modification. The Applicant requests the Special Temporary Authority to utilize transponder capacity on AMC-1 beginning October 1, 2009 when its Galaxy 15 transponder capacity expires. An application to modify the earth station license has been submitted.
