12. Description. The purpose of the temporary uplink is to provide news coverage of the G-20 Summit for our broadcast clients around the world. People around the world need to know what decisions their leaders are making on their behalf, and this uplink is a crucial link in the transmission chain we have designed to meet that need. Setting up this single AP uplink dish will eliminate the need for over a dozen foreign broadcasters to set up their own dishes. The proposed uplink will communicate with the AMC 15 and AMC 16 satellites only. Operation will start September 20, 2009 and end on September 27, 2009.
