Description SES Americom, Inc. requests extension of special temporary authority (FCC File No. SES−STA− 20090520−00630) to permit earth station KA294 to continue to communicate with the NSS−9 spacecraft in the extended C−band uplink frequencies (5850−5925 MHz) pending grant of earth station KA294 modification and amendments (FCC File Nos. SES−MOD−20090128−00079, SES−AMD−20090210−00167, SES− AFS−20090504−00545) in order to provide telemetry, tracking and control. All operations will be consistent with the services proposed in the KA294 modification and amendment applications. STA extension is requested for 60 days. 5
