(Vizada) for special temporary authority (STA) IS GRANTED, as amended by its letter of January 6, 2009. This request seeks continuation of operations originally authorized in File No. SES—STA—20071218—01710, with the exception that Vizada requests a change of the satellite point of communication from the INMARSAT—4F2 (52.75° W.L.) to the INMARSAT—3F4 (54° W.L.). Accordingly, Vizada is authorized, for a period beginning May 7, 2009 and ending July 5, 2009, to operate mobile earth terminals (MET‘s) described in its request, using the Inmarsat—3F4 satellite located at 54°W.L. in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in the Commission‘s rules and this document. 1. The 1544—1545/1645.5—1646.5 MHz band is reserved for safety and distress communications. See 47 C.E.R. § 2.106 Footnotes 5.356 and 5.365. 2. This STA may be terminated or modified at the International Bureau‘s discretion, without a hearing, if conditions warrant. 3. Authority granted in this STA is without prejudice to the disposition of the underlying applications in SES—LIC—20070416—00479, SES—AMD—20070920—01300, and SES—AMD—20071231—01758.

VIZADA, INC. REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY Vizada, Inc. ("Vizada") requests a grant of special temporary authority to allow the earth stations with call sign E000284 to continue communicating with the Inmarsat 3F4 satellite at 54° W.L. This request is a renewal of Vizada‘s existing STA, File No. SES—STA—20090304—00233. Grant of this STA is in the public interest because it will ensure continuity of service for Vizada‘s many customers. Moreover, grant of this STA will not cause interference to any other L—band operator and will not prejudice any interested party. Vizada agrees to continue to operate subject to the téerms and conditions contained in the original STA grant. Vizada respectfully requests that the Bureau grant this STA for a period of sixty days beginning May 6, 2009.
