(Vizada) for special temporary authority (STA) IS GRANTED, as amended by its letter ofJanuary 6, 2009. This request seeks continuation of operations originally authorizedin File No. SES—STA—20071218—01710, with the exception that Vizada requests a change ofthe satellite point of communication from the INMARSAT—4F2 (52.75° W.L.) to the INMARSAT—3F4 (54° W.L.). Accordingly, Vizada is authorized, for a period beginning January 8, 2009 and ending March 8, 2009, to operate mobile earth terminals (METs) described in its request, using the Inmarsat—3F4 satellite located at 54°W.L. in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in the Commission‘s rules andthis document. 1. The 1544—154571645.5—1646.5 MHz band is reserved for safety and distress communications. See 47 C.F.R. §2.106 Footnotes 5.356 and 5.365. 2. This STA may be terminated or modified at the International Bureau‘s discretion, without a hearing, if conditions warrant. 3. Authority granted in this STA is without prejudice to the disposition of the underlying applications in SES—LIC—20070416—00479, SES—AMD—20070920—01300, and SES—AMD—20071231—01758.
