Sirius XM Radio Inc. hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (’STA’) to operate an earth station in Ellenwood, Georgia for thirty days beginning January 5, 2009 to finish operational testing of the earth station’s uplink and TT&C to Sirius XM’s in−orbit satellites. Additionally, once operational testing is complete, Sirius XM seeks STA to 13. Description Sirius XM Radio Inc. hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (’STA’) to operate an earth station in Ellenwood, Georgia for thirty days beginning January 5, 2009 to finish operational testing of the earth station’s uplink and TT&C to Sirius XM’s in−orbit satellites. Additionally, once operational testing is complete, Sirius XM seeks STA to operate the earth station as a backup to the currently−operating facilities. 5
