January 6, 2009 letter IS GRANTED. Accordingly, BT Americas is authorized fora period beginning
November 12, 2008 and ending January 11, 2009, to operate up to 5,000 Broadband Global Area Network
(BGAN) mobile earth terminals (METs) using the Inmarsat 4F2 @ 52.75°W.L. and the Inmarsat—4F3 @
97.65°W .L. (beginning January 7, 2009), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical
specifications set forth in the Commission‘s rules and this document.

The 1544—154571645.5—1646.5 MHz band is reserved for safety and distress communications. See 47
