12. Description.
Vizada, Inc. requests special temporary authority to operate SeaTel model 6006 1.5 Meter Remote ESV antennas for ESV service via its Santa Paula, CA Teleport, call sign E890649. The remotes will operate with a hub antenna that has already been licensed by the commission and utilized to provide ESV service as previously authorized by the commission. The pending March 20, 2008 application requests modification of the current ESV authorization to add up to 350 SeaTel model 6006 1.5 meter remote ESV antennas to the authorization previously granted by the commission for the ESV Remotes to communicate via the AMC 23 satellite @ 172 E.L. and ALSAT Satellites to provide ESV service. This STA is being requested because a US Government customer has requested ESV service commencing May 18, 2008 via the AMC 23 utilizing the SeaTel 6006 ESV Remote.
