Temporary fixed earth station for satellite news gathering for news story in Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. NHK will use the flyaway to transmit news feeds from Saipan to NHK's Television Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan via SuperBirdB2. NHK seeks a thirty (30) day extension of its existing STA (Call Sign E080064, Submission ID No. IB2008000630, granted 3/14/08, expiring 5/14/08) to permit the continuation of news coverage from Saipan for one case involving extradition hearings for possible criminal trial in the United States. NHK, within thirty days, will be filing an amended license application to correct all of the deficiencies noted and as permitted in correspondence dated April 23, 2008 in DA 08-946.
