filings. However, given that the proposed earth station is a
temporary-fixed earth station that complies with 25.209 and either 25.211 or
25.212 (which ever applies) operating only in 14.0-14.5 and 11.7-12.2 using
ALSAT-designated satellites only and that File No. SES-LIC-20080304-00225 went on PN March 12,
2008, operations may commence pursuant to 25.151(e)(1) of the Commission's rules. Please
also see the attached PN.

Dear Mr. Kotler:
On March 4th Sure Shot Transmissions,
Inc. ("Sure Shot") filed an application seeking a license for a new
temporary-fixed earth station. The application was accepted for filing
on March 12th (E080054/SES-LIC-20080304-00225/).
On March 7th Sure Shot filed the
attached Request for Special Temporary Authority seeking authority to operate
the uplink with the same technical specifications set forth in the
application.
I am leaving to go overseas on
Tuesday, March 18th. Accordingly, I would ask that you take action with
respect to the STA Request before I leave, so that I can inform my
client.
In the alternative, if any action is
taken with respect to this STA Request after March 17th, could you inform Ms.
Carolyn Blasko at Sure Shot at [email protected]? Both
Sure Shot and I would be appreciative of this consideration.
