Request for Special Temporary Authority Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat Corporation ("Intelsat") files this letter in support of Tokyo Broadcasting System‘s request for Special Temporary Authority to operate one C—band flyaway facility on the island of Saipan in the Northern Meriana Islands beginning February 28, 2008. Specifically, Intelsat acknowledges that the proposed operation does not conform to the requirements of Section 25.209 ofthe FCC‘srules.. Intelsat certifies, however, that it has coordination agreements with adjacent satellite operators and that it has coordinated the operation ofthesubjectnon— conforming earth station accessing its Intelsat 8 satellite with all adjacent satellite networks within six degrees of orbital separation from Intelsat 8. Intelsat further certifics that the operations of the subject non—conforming earth station will not violate any existing coordination agreement regarding Intelsat 8.
