VIZADA, INC. Request for Special Temporary Authority Exhibit 1 Summary Vizada, Inc. ("Vizada") requests emergency authority on an unprotected and non— interference basis to performtesting fromits 10.4 meter fixed earth station in Santa Paula, California. The proposed testing will involve Inmarsat Swift64 aeronautical service via the Inmarsat 3F4 satellite at 142 degrees west longitude and will be supporting an unidentified U.S. Government user wishing to measure the performance of an Inmarsat Swift64 Closed User Group (CUG) lease service. For reference, a CUG lease service uses one or more Swift64 channels for the exclusive use by a group ofusers belonging to a single customer(referredto as a Swift 64 CUG) in a specific geographic region defined by one or more Inmarsat—3 regional spot beams. The testing requested by the end—user U.S. Government customeris critical and must be performed between 12:00 a.m. EST January 4 and 11:59 p.m. EST January 6.
