(*FiberSat") ecks modification ofts existing Fixed—Satellite Service VSAT authorization (Call Sign E50207)to allow deployment of additional 1.8 meter remote unitsatlocations throughout the continental United States: FiberSat was originally authorized in August 2005 to operate twenty—five (25) such remote units as part ofthis network, which is used to deliver digital copies of feature films and other special event video to movie theaters and other venues around the county. Due to a misunderstanding conceming the number ofremote units authorized through its initial lcense, FiberSat has continued to add remote antennas, and has now exceeded the number originally authorized. All ofthese terminals are technically identical o those permitted by the license granted in FCC File No. SES—LIC—2005071 1— 0090 (August 22, 2005)._In order to provide specific authority forthese operations and enable anticipated substantil future growth, FiberSat hereby requests FCC authority to increase the total number of 1.8 meter remote VSATT units from 25 to 1000. The information provided in this application pertains only tothe remote antennas, Operation of the existing 9.0 meter HUB Earth station located in Chatsworth, California will emain unchanged, and information conceming that facilty is therefore omitted. FiberSat is also filing, contemporancously with this modification application, a request for Special Temporary Authority (STA) t permit t to continue operating its VSAT system with additonal remote terminals. muosa
