Here are the updated emissions designators:
633KG7W �
633K: 633 KHz bandwidth, G: phase modulation, 7: 2 or more channels containing
quantized information, W: Combination of information types
1M27G7W � 1M27:
1.27 MHz bandwidth, G: phase modulation, 7: 2 or more channels containing
quantized information, W: Combination of information types
2M53G7W � 633K:
2.53 MHz bandwidth, G: phase modulation, 7: 2 or more channels containing
quantized information, W: Combination of information types
These
terminals will operate on Tachyon�s existing VSAT network (Call sign
E990127).
Justification:
These sites are both in heavy rain regions
and the network availability requirement is higher (99.9%) than can be achieved
with 1.2 meter antennas in combination with 2 Watt BUCs. The purpose of the STA
requests is to test these sites and confirm performance under rain fade
conditions. Once test results are evaluated, Tachyon expects to add this
terminal type (i.e. 1.8 meter antenna in combination with a 4 Watt BUC) to its
blanket license through a Form 312 filing.
Please let me know the
schedule for granting the associated STAs.
