12. Description.
This is an application to extend the special temporary authority requested in SES-STA-20051206-01689(originally granted in SES-STA-20050701-00862, extended by SES-STA-20050805-01045, SES-STA-20050826-01179, SES-STA-20051005-01370, and SES-STA-20051102-01501) for an additional 30 days. This will allow E020306 to continue to operate in conjunction with EchoStar 4 at 77 W.L. EchoStar has recounted the public interest benefits of operating EchoStar 4 at 77 W.L. in File Nos. SAT-STA-20050321-00068, SES-MFS-20050527-00662, and SES-LFS-20050701-00852. These applications seek Commission approval to move EchoStar 4 to 77 W.L. where it would operate as a Mexican licensed satellite and blanket earth station authority to allow EchoStar 4 at 77 W.L. to provide service into the U.S. These applications are currently pending before the Commission.
