(debtor—in Possession) (*Loral") was granted Verbal Authority for a 30 day period to provide emergency communications in areas impacted by Hurricane Katrin. On October 4, 2005 Loralrespectfully submitted an STA request pursuant to Section 25,120 ofthe Commission‘s rules, to provide service for a period ending on February 12, 2006. Loral respectfully requests this STA be extended for 90 additional days. Grant othis STA is necessary and will serve the public interest by allowing for the positioning of 20 VSATS at various sitesfor use by FEMA. in conjunction with it relief efforts.
