Accordingly, IL Communication is authorized to aperate a C:Band fixed earth station using a 2.4 meter C—band antenna. All operations are on an unprotected basis i accordance with the terms, condiions,and technical specifications st forth in the Commission‘s rules this document,and the STA appliation. 1. IWL Communicationsshallcoordinateall ots operations so that no harmfu iterference shallbe caused to any other lwhily operatingsatelites or radiocommunication system. TWL Communications shall cease opertions immediately upon notification of such inerfeence and inform the Commission in writingimmediately ofsuch an event 2. IWL Communications is required o acceptintrference fom otherlwuilly opertingsateites or radiocommunication systems. 3. Any action taken or expense incurred asa result ooperations pursiantto this spocial uthorit is solely at IWL Communications‘s own ris. 4. This rantis imited t th authorizaion of an antenna structure that is exempt, pursuantto Section 17.14 of the Commission‘s rules, rom the Federal Aviation Administation (FAA) notifeation requirements. 47 C..R § 17.14, IWL Communications s instructed to review the rules concerning FAA notieation crierio. See 47 C.FR. Part 17, Subpart B. 5.. TL Communications shall take all necessary measuresto ensure that th antenna does nocreate potental exposure of humansto radiofrequeney radiation in excess ofthe FCC exposure Iimits deined in 47 CFR 1,1307()and 1.1310 wherever such exposures might ocur. Measures mustbe aken to ensure compliance with limitsfor both occupationa/controlled exposure and forgeneral populationtincontalled exposre, as defined in these rul sections. Compliance can be accomplishd in most cases by appropriterestrctions such as encing. Requirementsfor restrictions can be determined by preditions based on calcultions, modeling or by feld measurements. The FCCs OET Buletin 65 (available on—lin at wwfec.govoct/rfsafty) providesinformation on predicting exposure leves and on methods fr ensuring compliance,including th use ofwaming and alering. signs and protective equipment for workers. 6.
