MEMORANDUM October 3, 2005 TO: Scott Kotler FCC FROM: Raul Rodriguez Philip Bonomo Counsel to Maritime Telecommunications Network, Inc. RE: IBFS Submission No. IB 2005002254 This memo supplements the above-referenced application of Maritime Telecommunications Network, Inc. (“MTN”) to replace the application’s existing Attachment 1 with the new Attachment 1 attached hereto, and to replace the text of the application’s Description with the following: The application is an electronic follow-up version of MTN’s initial request for a 30-day special temporary authority to operate a network consisting of a hub station and three C-band 2.4 meter ESVs. The initial request was granted by the FCC on September 4, 2005. The authority requested herein will permit the provision of communication services to relief workers and displaced persons temporarily housed on board Carnival cruise ships docked in Galveston, Texas and Mobile, Alabama as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
