Accordinaly Shell Communications is authorized to use a 2.4 meter conventional C—Band transmireceive carth sttion on an oil patform designated. WD 143,in the Gulfof Mexico communicating with the PAS—IR (45 W.L.) for recovery effors in the GulFof Mexico. The earth stationwill provide digitl voice and data services. All operations underthis STA are on an unprotected non— interference basis in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications st forth in the Commission‘s rules and this document 1. Shell Communications, Inc shall coordinateall of ts operations so that no harmful interference shall be caused to any other lawfuilly operating satelfites or radiocommunication system. Shell Communications, Inc shallcease operations immediately upon notification ofuch interference and inform the Commission in wrting immediately ofsuch an event 2. Shell Communications, Ici required to accept interference from other lawlally operating satelltesor radiocommunication systems. 3. Any action taken or expense incured asa result oaperations pursuant tothis special authority is solely at Shell Communications,Inc.‘ own risk. 4. This grantislimited to the authorization ofan antenna structurethatis exempt, pursuant to Section 17.14 of the Commission‘s rules, rom the Federal Aviation Administation (PAA) notification requirements. 47 C.FR § 17.14. Shell Communications, ncis instructed to review the rulesconcerning FAA notifcation critera. See 47 C.FR. Part17, Subpart B 5. This STA may be terminated atthe Intermational Bureau‘s discretion, without hearing, if conditions warrant.
