SunGard NetWork Solutions Inc Attachment 2 Request to Extend STA The earthstation license E80067 is incidental to a complicated merger transaction described in the underlying transfer application (File No. SES—T/C—INTR2005—01743) which, due t a number of factorsinvolved in the transaction, could not be filed untl August3, 2005 That application appeared on public notice on August 24, 2005, which means that it cannot be granted prior to September 23, 2005. See Public Norice, Report No. SES—00742 (released Aug 24, 2008) A Special Temporary Authorization (*$TA") was granted on August 11, 2005, to enble the icensee to continue o provide critical disaster recovery services which are essential to protect computer data and network communications while the transferof contral application is pending (File No. SES—STA—20050804—0104). The STA expires on September 10, 2005, t least two weeks before the pending transfer application can be granted. If this STA is not extended, innocent third parties will lose access to critical computer services. in view ofthe foregoing, a grant ofthis request to extend the existing STA would serve the public interest. In an effor to avoid the need to seck a further extension request, the licenses hereby requests that the existing STA be extended for period ofthirty (30) days to allow sufficient time forthe Commission‘s staf to process the underlying trinsfer application. oevon meums
