SunGard NetWork Solutions Inc Attachment 2 Request to Extend STA The earth station license E950170 is incidentalto a complicated merger transaction described in the underlying transfer application (File No. SES—T/C—INTR2005—01743) which, ue to a number of factors involved in the transaction, could not be filed until August3, 2005. That application appeared on public notice on August 24, 2005, which means that it eannot be uranted prior t September 23, 2005. See Public Noric, Report No. SES—00742 (released Aug, 24,2005). A Special Temporary Authorization ("STA®) was granted on Ausust 11, 2005, to enable the icensee to continue to provide critical disaster recovery services which are essential to protect computer data and network communications while the transfer o contrl application is pending (File No. SES—STA—20050804—01055). The STA expires on September 10, 2005, at Teast two weeks before the pending transfer application can be granted. If his STA is not extended, innocent third parties will lose access to criical computer services in view ofthe foregoing, a grant ofthis request to extend the existing STA would serve the publicinterest, In an effort to avoid the need to seck a further extension request, the Hicensee hereby requeststhat the existing STA be extended for a period ofthirty (30) days to allow sufficient time forthe Commission‘s staf to process the underlying transfer application. osvon cums
