The authority requested herein will permit the provision of communications services in areas affected by 13. Description The applicant requests special temporary authority for a 180−day period to provide temporary−fixed Ku−band service from five additional earth stations that are technically identical to the earth station authorized under call sign E040270. The authority requested herein will permit the provision of communications services in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. The FCC previously granted the applicant a 30−day STA on September 4, 2005. 5
