Conditions for Grant of Katrina—related STA request IBFS FILE No. SES—STA—20050907—01217 Sept. 7, 2005 BJ Services‘s Sept. 6, 2005 request for special temporary authority (STA) IS GRANTED. Accordingly, BJ Services is authorized from September 7, 2005 to October 6, 2005 to provide STA request to provide VSAT services in support of Katrina related requirements in the 11.7—12.2 and 14.0—14.5 GHz band using up to ten 0.96 meter AVL MODEL 965KCB antennas and communicating with the AMC—4 (101° W.L.) on an . unprotected non—interference basis in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in the Commission‘s rules and this document. 1. BJ Services shall coordinate all of its operations so that no harmful interference shall be caused to any other lawfully operating satellites or radiocommunication system. BJ Services shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference and inform the Commission in writing immediately of such an event. 2. BJ Services is required to accept interference from other lawfully operating satellites or radiocommunication systems. 3. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special authority is solely at BJ Services‘s own risk. In addition, the following conditions also apply: No transmissions while in motion. A pointing accuracy of 0.2 degrees will be maintained at all times. This grant is issued pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.F.R. § 0.261, and is effective immediately.
