Description Globalstar USA, LLC (‘Globalstar‘) is applying for an extension of the Special Terporary Authority granted on July 13, 2005, to operate four earth station antennas from its proposed gatevay location in Sebring, Florida, to comunicate with the Globalstar LLC Mobile Satellite Service (‘M5S®) matellite constellation. The earth station antennas are necessary for Globalstar to neet imcreased customer denand that cannot adequately be met using the earth stations at Globalstar‘s existing U.5. gateways, which are already operating at full capacity and which are at too great a distance from the areas of increased customer denand to provide reliable service. Globalstar has filed four separate applications for special terporary authority on Porm 312 —— one for each antenna at the proposed Sebring, Florida location. Globalstar requests that they be processed simultaneousty.
