MCI Network Services, Inc ('MCI') respectfully requests an extension of its Special Temporary Authorization ('STA'), SES-STA-20050307-00284, from the current expiration date of 9/10/2005 to 3/10/2006. MCI is operating under the current STA while its modification application, SES-MOD-20021125-02060, to add Intersputnik Express 3A as a point of communication is pending before the Federal Communications Commission ('Commission or 'FCC').
