Journal Broadcast Corporation ('Journal') submits this application for special temporary authority for the immediate operation of transmit satellite. Journal previously held a license (E940294) for a station at this location and recently discovered that the license had not been renewed due to an administrative oversight. Grant of the application is in the public interest as it will allow Journal to provide satellite transmissions -- particularly focusing on news and weather -- to the viewing public. This application does not involve any changes in the station's technical parameters. Grant of this application is in the public interest as it will enable Journal to continue to provide satellite transmissions -- particularly focusing on news and weather -- to the public. Journal is concurrently filing an FCC Form 312, application for a new earth station.
