By this application, Telenor Satellite, Inc. requests special temporary authority to begin a beta test program for a Ku−band VSAT network on June 1, 2005. The beta test will involve 33 remote terminals, all of which have 1.2 meter Andrew antennas that are eligible for routine processing. The terminals will be deployed throughout CONUS and will operate 13. 12. Description By this application, Telenor Satellite, Inc. requests special temporary authority to begin a beta test program for a Ku−band VSAT network on June 1, 2005. The beta test will involve 33 remote terminals, all of which have 1.2 meter Andrew antennas that are eligible for routine processing. The terminals will be deployed throughout CONUS and will operate with an already−licensed 8.1 meter Vertex hub antenna located at Telenor’s earth station facility in Southbury, CT. Testing will be conducted using standard Ku−band frequencies. 5
