Dear Sir or Madam:
Maritime TelecommunicationsNetwork, h c . (“MTN’), by its attorneys and pursuant to

On July 18,2001, the Commission granted STA authority to MTN to operate from July 20,

ending on June 14,2004.

MTN specifically requests authority for the following:

Operation in the 12/14 GHz band with conforming antennas on a non-interterence basis for
all operations at any location on water, including when stationary at piers.

MTN’s application for permanent authority for use of the 12/14 GHz band is currently
pending. See FCC File No. SES-LIC-20011130-02259; Call Sign E010332. Grant of the instant
request will serve the public interest by permitting MTN to continue to make available its service
while the Commission processes the application for permanent authority. MTN remains committed
to offer its service in a manner consistent with the operations described in the November 22,2002
