(Norlight) seeks special temporary authority to operate a Domestic Satellite Fixed Earth Station that will be used in the provision of video services. Please note that Norlight has been using an earth station identical to the one proposed herein (Call Sign E5401) pursuant to authority granted in File No. SES− 13. 12. Description Norlight Telecommunications, Inc. (Norlight) seeks special temporary authority to operate a Domestic Satellite Fixed Earth Station that will be used in the provision of video services. Please note that Norlight has been using an earth station identical to the one proposed herein (Call Sign E5401) pursuant to authority granted in File No. SES−MOD−20020311−00305. However, it has only recently come to Norlight’s attention that the license for E5401 had expired and that Norlight had inadvertently allowed the license to lapse. A license application with technical specifications identical to this request will be filed within one day of this request for special temporary authority. Accordingly, Norlight hereby requests special temporary authority to operate the subject earth station and allow Norlight to continue its provision of video services during the pendency of the license application. 5
