Description APPLICANT SEEKS AUTHORITY TO OPERATE TRANSMIT−ONLY, TEMPORARY FIXED EARTH STATION VEHICLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSMITTING A COMPRESSED DIGITAL VIDEO SIGNAL FOR USE BY WHDH−TV, ITS CUSTOMERS AND AFFILIATED STATIONS’ NEWS PROGRAMS FOR THE COVERAGE OF IMPORTANT NEWS AND SPORTING EVENTS. THE POINTS OF COMMUNICATION WILL BE ALSAT (ALL US DOMESTIC SATELLITES) FROM VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. GRANT OF AN STA WILL SERVE THE PUBLIC INTEREST BY ALLOWING APPLICANT TO PROVIDE IMPORTANT NEWS AND WEATHER INFORMATION TO ITS VIEWERS. 5
