Petition for Waiver of Section 25.121(e) for Earth Station E040339 This application respectfully requests a waiver of Section 25.121(e) so that the renewal for Transmit-Receive Fixed Earth Station E040339, set to expire September 27, 2019, can be processed even though the licensee did not file its Form 312-R renewal application at least 30 days prior to expiration. The licensee and its corporate legal department are currently establishing revamped record-keeping procedures that will prevent any future inadvertent oversights of the license renewal requirements set forth in Section 25.121(e). The earth station is used in connection with providing service to viewers of WGN-TV in the Chicago Television market. Because continued use of the C-Band earth station will serve the public interest and the licensee has taken prompt action as soon as it discovered that the 30-day prior to expiration filing deadline had been overlooked, the applicant hereby petitions the FCC to renew the registration authorization nunc pro tunc.
