Mission Broadcasting, Inc. E040154 License Renewal Exhibit 1 Petition for Reinstatement Ku‐Band transmit‐receive earth station E040154 (the “Station”), licensed to Mission Broadcasting, Inc. (“Mission”), expired on May 6, 2019. Due to an administrative oversight, the renewal is being filed within thirty days of expiration. The Commission may waive a rule if such action would not undermine the policy objective of the rule and would be in the public interest.1 Grant of the renewal would be in the public interest since it would allow the Station to continue serving its communities without interruption. Accordingly, Mission respectfully requests that the Commission grant the instant E040154 application for renewal of license. 1 See WAIT Radio v. FCC, 418 F.2d 1153, 1157 (D.C.
