Justification for Application and Regulatory Fee Exemption Prairie Public Broadcasting, Inc. is the licensee of numerous noncommercial educational radio and TV stations and this satellite earth station facility will be used on a noncommercial educational basis in conjunction with its noncommercial educational operations. Therefore, this application is exempt from filing fees pursuant to Section 1.1114 of the Commission’s Rules and the facility is exempt from regulatory fees pursuant to Section 1.1162 of the Rules. The nonprofit 501(c)(3) status of Prairie Public Broadcasting, Inc. is a matter of record with the FCC.
