(“Cable One”), pursuant to § 25.163 of the Commission’s rules, requests that the International Bureau reinstate and renew its radio station authorization license for International Satellite Fixed Receive Earth Station KM79, File No.. SES-RWL-20011204- 02207. Cable One’s license should be renewed and reinstated because (1) KM79 provides a vital link in the distribution of area TV station programming. Continued operation of KM79 will serve the public interest by avoiding disruptive interruption of service. Cable One has acted in good faith. On discovery of the mistakenly overlooked deadline, Cable One promptly filed its reinstatement/renewal application, together with this petition, within the 30-day grace period set forth in § 25.163 of the Commission’s rules. To avoid such inadvertent mistakes in the future. Cable One has further acted in good faith by submitting a request for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to continue operations of KM79, to avoid any service disruption while its reinstatement/renewal application is being processed.

CONCLUSION For the foregoing reasons, Cable One respectfully requests that the authorization for KM79 (File No. SES-RWL-20011204-02207) be reinstated and renewed.
