Turner Network Sales FCC Form 312 Application to Renew Application to Renew Satellite Earth Station Registration By the attached Form 312R, Turner Network Sales (the “Registrant”) seeks to renew its registration for the receive-only satellite earth station bearing the call sign E010239 (the “Registration”). The Registration was granted to Registrant on October 18, 2001, and the expiration date listed on the Registration is August 31, 2011.1/ Due to an inadvertent administrative oversight, the Registrant did not file a FCC Form 312R renewal request between 90 days and 30 days before the Registration’s expiration date, as contemplated by Section 25.121 of the Commission’s rules.2/ The Registration is still listed in the International Bureau Filing System (“IBFS”)’s records as a “current authorization,” and when the Registration’s expiration date came to Registrant’s attention, Registrant immediately prepared the attached renewal request, and filed it within 30 days from the listed expiration date. Registrant asks the Commission to accept this renewal request, the grant of which would serve the public interest by allowing the Registrant to continue to receive protection for its operations from other spectrum users. While the Registrant could submit a new registration request, and receive protection from co-channel and adjacent channel operations in due course, it would be administratively more efficient for the Commission to simply process this late-submitted request.
