KG59 is a registered receive-only facility that is owned and operated by US Cable in connection with its Moberly, Missouri cable television system. However, due to an inadvertent clerical etror, the registration recently was renewed by Comcast of Florida I, Inc. US Cable acquired the station from TCI Cablevision of Missouri, Inc. pursuant to an assignment of the registration in 2001 (SES-ASG-20010430-00807). A copy of the IBFS record reflecting that assignment is attached. Subsequently, in2006, Comcast Communications submitted a name change notification for numerous earth station facilities previously registered to its TCI entities. Notwithstanding the previous 2001 assignment, the name change notification, a copy of which is attached, mistakenly included station KG59. Due to this record keeping mistake, Comcast inadvertently renewed KG59 in error. Comcast has been contacted and acknowledges the error. Therefore, it is requested that the IBFS records be updated to reflect US Cable of Coastal-Texas, LP (FRN No. 0004-4539-81) as the current registrant.
