This is written on behalf of our client, Read Broadcasting, LLC, to follow-up your telephone discussion yesterday with our paralegal, Brenda Chapman. As Ms. Chapman noted yesterday, we seek to have the International Bureau correct its records with respect to the name of the licensee of E000286, from Thomas W. Read to Read Broadcasting, LLC. As an initial matter, we are attaching hereto, for your convenience, copies of the following documents from IBFS that are relevant to this matter: IBFS Quick Search for E000286 E000286 license granted 8/7/2000 to Read Broadcasting, LLC E000286 renewal license granted 7/21/2010 to Thomas W. Read Form 312-R renewal application filed 7/19/2010 to renew E000286 Please notice that IBFS Quick Search lists two file numbers for E000286: SES-LIC-20000614-00954 granted the E000286 license to Read Broadcasting, LLC on 8/7/2000. SES-RWL-20100719-00927 renewed the E000286 license on 7/21/2010, but under the name Thomas W. Read rather than Read Broadcasting, LLC. Please be advised that Thomas W. Read, an individual, is the sole member and sole officer of Read Broadcasting, LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Washington. It was intended by the 7/19/2010 Form 312-R renewal application SES-RWL-20100719-00927 that the E000286 be renewed in the name of the then-licensee, Read Broadcasting, LLC. It appears that the error in the IB's records might be due to an error on page 1-Item 1 of the Form 312-R application, which stated the name of the applicant as Thomas W. Read. Although it was Mr. Read who physically completed the application for renewal on behalf of Read Broadcasting, LLC of Read Broadcasting, LLC, it was intended that the E000286 license remain in the name of Read Broadcasting, LLC. No change in ownership or control was intended. We respectfully request that you correct the name of the licensee shown in the IB's records to Read Broadcasting, LLC. At your request, I am also providing a copy of this email as a comment in the electronic IBFS non-docketed pleadings and comments filing system.
