Attachment A Planet Labs Inc. Earth Station Application October 2017 Page 1 of 1 Description of Request With this application, Planet Labs Inc. (“Planet”) requests modification of its earth station located in Fairbanks, AK (Call Sign E150030) to increase the output power of the three currently authorized transmitter centered at 450.0 MHz (Antenna ID UHF_UL). Accordingly, the information included in the attached Schedule B is identical to the technical and operational information reflected in the current authorization – with the sole exception of the increased output power of the transmitter. An updated radiation hazard analysis is also submitted with the application which includes a statement of intent to comply with the radiofrequency radiation exposure limits defined in 47 CFR 1.1307(b) and 1.1310 by way of turning off transmitters during maintenance, the posting of radiation hazard signs, and securing the area from the public.
