The Boeing Company Daniel McNeil Radio Frequency Spectrum Manger The Boeing Company 5300 International Blvd M/C 7817-2202 North Charleston, SC 29418 714-642-7485 Purpose of Modification: Boeing Requires a modification to E100083 to begin using extended Ku band on the Telstar 12V satellite at the Boeing Herndon, VA Facility. Changes implemented by the satellite provider require operation in the extended Ku-band and there are no other options to meet the contracted government support requirement. A STA (SES-STA-INTR2017-01257) has been filed in the interim to allow operations to begin upon grant to support customer needs. The Telstar 12V satellite is included on the FCC’s Permitted Space Station List. See Call Sign S2933, File No. SAT-LOA-20141010-00107.
