SES-ASG-20150313-00147 & SES-MOD-20150313-00146 Call Sign E960474 Dear Ms. Dortch: Shaw Satellite Services Inc. (“Shaw Satellite”), by its counsel, submits this letter to provide certain ownership and other supplemental information regarding the above-referenced applications. To the knowledge of Shaw Satellite’s parent company, Shaw Communications Inc. (“SCI”), the only person who beneficially owns, directly or indirectly, or exercises control or direction over, more than 10% of the voting shares of SCI is JR Shaw. JR Shaw beneficially owns, controls, or directs approximately 79% of the issued and outstanding voting shares of SCI. JR Shaw, members of his family, and corporations owned or controlled by them have entered into a Voting Trust Agreement relating to all voting shares of SCI that they own, control, or direct. The attached diagram supplements the ownership information contained in Exhibit E of the above-referenced license assignment application. The attached diagram sets out the composition of the 79% of the issued voting shares in SCI that are beneficially owned, controlled, or directed by JR Shaw. JR Shaw is a Canadian citizen whose business address is 900 – 630 3rd Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2P 424, Canada. Dortch March 22, 2015 Page 2 (2) Shaw Satellite seeks a license modification to add the proposed new operating frequencies (i.e., 14018.712-14033.288 MHz and 14090.085-14100.085 MHz for uplinks and 12066.375-12069.375 MHz, 11957.500-11960.500 MHz, and 11710.500-11713.500 MHz for downlinks) to the existing frequencies specified under the Boatracs license (Call Sign E960474).
