Nextel Communications of the Mid−Atlantic, Inc. has licensed a domestic VSAT network consisting of three fixed hub sites and twenty five transportable remote earth stations, which deploy to operate on a short−term basis in remote areas where disasters have destroyed or impaired traditional forms of wireless telecommunications at major 10

Nextel Communications of the Mid&#8722;Atlantic, Inc. has licensed a domestic VSAT network consisting of three fixed hub sites and twenty five transportable remote earth stations, which deploy to operate on a short&#8722;term basis in remote areas where disasters have destroyed or impaired traditional forms of wireless telecommunications at major events/attractions, and at special events requiring enhanced security. In addition to operating their transportable remote earth stations throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the American Virgin Islands, Nextel Communications of the Mid&#8722;Atlantic seeks to also add Guam, American Samoa and the Mariana Islands as operating points on their license. 28
