                                        Exhibit A

_ Answer to Question 43 of Form 312

Intelsat North America LLC ("Intelsat") herein requests modification of its earth station
license, call sign KA258,‘ pursuant to section 25.118(a) of the rules of the FCC, to add
authority to use circular and linear polarization for all the emissions currently contained
in the license.

The license for earth station KA258 currently authorizes communication in the
frequencies 14000—14500 MHz and 11700—1 2200 MHz with all authorized U.S. domestic
(ALSAT) satellites. KA258 is also authorized to communicate in the frequencies 10950—
11200 MHz, 11700—12200 MHz, 13995.5 MHz, and 13246.5 MHz with the following
satellites: '
NSS NV.5 @ 338.5 E.L., NSS N.V.806 @ 319.5 E.L, NSS N.V.K @ 338.5 E.L,
INTELSAT 805@342E, INTELSAT 11@43.0 L. W., INTELSAT AOR @ 342 EL,
340E.L, 335.5 E.L, 332.5 E.L, 330.5 E.L, 328.5 E.L, 325.5. E.L, 310 E.L and 307 E.L.

The present modification seeks to change the polarization information of the current
license to indicate both circular and linear polarization: H.V,L,R. '
All other parameters of the current license remain unchanged.
The present application does not entail any material change to the existing "transmit and
receive" parameters of the KA258 earth station. Intelsat is seeking to modify its current
KA258 license to add new polarization information. As such, Intelsat does not include a
Schedule B covering parameters already in the license. To the extent necessary, the
Schedule B information previously provided is incorporated by reference. _
