(formerly Satamatics Ltd.), and that the EMS Global Tracking mobile earth terminal ("MET") model number SAT—232 complies with all applicable Part 25 rules and the terms and conditions of LXE, Inc.‘s ("LXE‘s") blanket authorization to provide the Inmarsat—D (D+ and IsatM2M modes) service to customers in the United States. See Call Sign E020074 MET model number SAT—232 is electrically equivalent in terms of its underlying RF characteristics to the SAT—200 MET that is already covered by the FCC‘s blanket license issued to LXE. In addition, the SAT—232 MET complies with all terms and conditions of LXE‘s authorization, including the requirement of having an average shut—down time of 1.35 seconds and maximum shut—down time of 2.6 seconds (condition 3920) in order to protect the Global Maritime Distress and Safety Service ("GMDSS"). The SAT—232 conforms to the following parts of the FCC CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Title 47: e Part 15 — Radio Frequency Devices (Receive mode only) e Part 25 — Satellite communications (Receive and Transmit modes) Certification was carried out under FCC ID number X38SA¥AT—232. Also attached to this certification is an independent test report (and associated appendices) on Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) testing, demonstrating compliance with the "General population/Uncontrolled exposure" limits OET Bulletin 65 as applied to RF energy from a Portable device.
